Who are we ?

We are an independent, limited company. We share offices, and indeed, two directors, with Eagle Coaches of Bristol. Eagle also supply us with the majority of our coach travel requirements, and having such a close link ensures that we get the best coaches and the best drivers. Also, as an independent ABTA and CAA accredited tour operator, you can be sure that you are booking with a financially secure travel company.

What do we do ?

We specialise in organising school winter sports groups to the Upper Susa Valley in Italy. Selecting a very specific area means that we are well known there, that our drivers know the area intimately, that we put a lot of business into the hands of a relatively few suppliers, and that we get very high levels of cooperation in return. Our packages are highly inclusive, and leave little to be paid for when the students arrive on site in Italy. Amongst the inclusions are journey breakfasts on each leg of the journey, (see Travelling page), hot snack lunches for every ski day of the trip, (see “An Average Snowsports Day”), up to one Free Staff Place for every SIX paying travellers, zero excess medical insurance, inclusive apres ski entertainments (see Apres Ski Events page) – and last, but by no means least, 100% guaranteed prices in the form of a no surcharge guarantee.

ABTA and CAA – why ?

The Association of British Travel Agents and the Civil Aviation Authority are the two main industry regulatory bodies. Although they don’t actually check levels of competence, being accepted for membership of them does imply a certain degree of it. They insist on high levels of financial input (ABTA will only accept new members with a minimum of £ 50,000 start up share capital). ABTA and the CAA are charged by the Department of Trade and Industry with ensuring the financial transparency and solvency of their members, and by doing this, ensuring that money paid up-front by customers is totally secure, and reimbursed in the unlikely event of a members bankruptcy. Our booking conditions are, in fact written by ABTA. They are particularly comprehensive, cover all areas of potential confusion, and are extremely fair to both parties in the agreement – or contract. This is another major bonus of our ABTA membership.

Booking Conditions – No Surcharge Guarantee.

We are not obliged to offer a “no surcharge guarantee”, but in the ten years that we have been operational we have always done so. We will also continue to do so. You can book your group with confidence, knowing that you will not have to go back to the parents of your pupils and ask for more money.
