Hotel Roma

The Hotel Roma – right in the centre of Claviere, within thirty metres of the beginners pistes. Newly renovated over the last two seasons, and to be completed for the 2006 Winter Olympics, this is a fixture of Claviere that many thousands of British skiers will recall with fond memories.

The food is excellent, the bar has also been improved and is one of the liveliest in Claviere, ski and boot storage is in the cellar, so there is minimal carrying.

The mixture of English and Italian in the husband and wife team (Diane from Sheffield, and Giuliano from Turin) ensure the best of both worlds
